Movie Critique: Embers (10% of your grade): You will have to watch the movie Embers and write a 2-3 double spaced page summary and critique. In this paper I want you to 1.) summarize the movie; 2.) detail your thoughts about the movie: Did you like it? Why or why not?; 3.) relate the main characters’ memory “issues” with what we talked about in class. How does the discussion and portrayal of memory and emotion cohere with what we have talked about in class? Are there any glaring mistakes? What do they do well? Your critique will be due via Turnitin on BB by Wednesday, January 23rd at 11:59pm. FYI: The movie is available for free on Tubi.
