There will be a research–based paper/project that will be due on 4/29/2024. Each paper/project will address one of the following police agencies that have been accused of “patterns of practice” that impact negatively upon the constitutional rights of citizens. These “patterns of practice may involve widespread police 6 6 corruption, widespread and “culturally”1 accepted excessive use of force, where either the Federal government (DOJ) and/or state authorities became involved in civil litigation in order to change discriminatory ‘patterns of practice’ within a police department.
